    Default Ruger LCR

Just picked up a Ruger LCR 38 Sp + Pt today, planning on going to range this weekend.

Anyone out there with comment or input on this gun?

They work well, nice triggers. a little stiff on recoil with +p. Not a bad revolver.

I found both triggers to be terrible to me so the triggers are on a scale to me.. The Glock was a crisper suck and the XD was a more mushy suck. They are in the same family, SR9 (heavy suck), Glock (crisp heavy suck), XD( lighter mushy suck), M&P(heavy mushy suck).

I fired a friend's and liked how it fit my hand. Good luck with your new pistol!

I have heard and read good reviews on them.

I would buy one.......the bottom line is it's a Ruger revolver. It'll be good.

I liked everything about it until I fired it. I thought it was way to light. Accurate, but a box of 50 rounds was more than enough for the day. It left my hand sore.

Good carry gun, very accurate for a 1 7/8" barrel. Recoil is snappy with +P loads. It is not intended to be a target revolver & be shot all day. Light to carry & might save your life.

wheelman, I agree. I too looked into one, then made another buy instead. Then, after shooting my friend's LCP and "not seeing" him carry it, I realized the size was perfect for pocket carry. It's fantastic. No frills, just enough size to work in that caliber.

I like. Mine is almost here... lol

I fully understand it isn't a target gun. To each their own.

Looking forward to your impressions. Haven't shot one but have held and dry fired. Thinking of getting one for my daughter to carry. Amazingly light and compact. Trigger felt very smooth too.

Yeah, I want one..It'll be another few months yet as I'm trying to resist using the CC for one.
