    Default cc in rivers casino

Sorry, this was probably posted already but trying to sift through irrelevant search results on a blackberry isn't working so well.

Anyway, is CC legal in Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh legal? If so, what kind of security is in place? Is it discouraged/ prohibited by the casino Mgmt? In my case CC means concealed so if its legal and there. Aren't metal detectors then I will probably carry.

    Thanks

Under the State Gaming Control Board rules carrying firearms in casinos is prohibited. If caught, you will be asked to leave. PS: There is a PSP office located inside each casino.

You won't be breaking any law as there is no law in regards to you.
It is a gaming license requirement that they not allow firearms.
The 2A does not GIVE us the right. It tells the gov they can not INFRINGE our right.

if you do cc in a casino, theres no law thats broken per say. if you get spotted to be cc, printing badly most likely, you will be either asked to put in in the car, or to leave. if you refuse either of those options tho, then the PSP officers on duty will respond and you will more than likely be trespassed.

Pa Code requires that each casino licensee post prohibitions against firearms carried by anyone on the premises - 'no firearms' is a condition of entry. It also prescribes that any firearm discovered be IMMEDIATELY reported to the PSP contingent on site.

So the bottom line, if you enter CCing:

    1. you are trespassing just by the fact that you entered contrary to the posted conditions;
    2. if discovered you have a sitdown with the PSP.

Trespass contrary to signage is a summary offense with a MAXIMUM fine of $300 and/or 90 days

Not case law - its STATE law.

    1. Trespassing contrary to signage 18 Pa CSA 3503(b)(1)(ii). Most recently discussed in more detail. Click here.

    2. 058 Pa Code 465a.11(b)(5)(ix)

    § 465a.11. Slot machine licensee’s organization.
    (b) A slot machine licensee’s system of internal controls must also include, at a minimum, the following departments and supervisory positions, each of which must be categorized as mandatory and must cooperate with, yet perform independently of, other mandatory departments and supervisory positions of the slot machine licensee. Notwithstanding the foregoing, a department or supervisor of a slot machine licensee that is not required or authorized by this section may operate under or in conjunction with a mandatory department or supervisor provided the organizational structure is consistent with the standards contained within the act and subsection (a). Mandatory departments and supervisory positions are:
    (5) A security department supervised by a person located at the licensed facility who functions, for regulatory purposes, as the director of security. The director of the security department shall be licensed as a key employee and be responsible for the overall security of the licensed facility including the following:
(ix) The provision of immediate notice to the Pennsylvania State Police upon detecting the presence in the licensed facility of a person possessing a weapon in violation of § 465a.13 (relating to possession of weapons within a licensed facility).
As to the requirement for a licensee to post the sign:

058 Pa Code § 465a.13. Possession of weapons within a licensed facility.

    (a) Individuals, including security department personnel, are prohibited from possessing any deadly weapon as defined in 18 Pa.C.S. § 2301 (relating to definitions), stun gun or other device designed to injure or incapacitate a person within a licensed facility without the express written approval of the Board.

    (d) A slot machine licensee shall post in a conspicuous location at each entrance to the licensed facility signs that may be easily read stating the following:
The possession of a deadly weapon, stun gun or other device designed to injure or incapacitate a person by any person within this licensed facility without the express written permission of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board is prohibited.

iirc it's part of the gaming code to not allow weapons, not state law. is there a punishment that goes along with it other then trespass?
