Re: Question: Going On A Road Trip
Looking at a map that shows which states have reciprocity wit Pa. it looks like you'd be OK to carry if you avoid Maryland and South Carolina.
http://www.pafoa.org/law/carrying-fi...ry/reciprocity
If you can't or don't want to avoid those 2 states you'll have to abide by the peaceable journey provisions. If I understand that correctly it goes something like this; put it away, unloaded, presumably in your trunk or somewhere else it isn't easily accessible, separate from ammo, before you enter those states and drive straight through, no stopping for gas, food, lodging etc.
If I'm wrong I'll be corrected in short order.
I don't have a short temper, I just have a quick reaction to bullshit.

Re: Question: Going On A Road Trip
In the past year I have driven to Tennessee and South Carolina. I carried where legal. Just before I hit the Maryland border, I pulled over and took my pistol and holster off my belt and locked up my pistol IAW the applicable laws. When I got to the next state and could carry, I stopped got out and put the pistol and holster back on my hip.
I also printed out the laws from www.handgunlaw.us to have as a reference incase I found myself in a situation where I might need to know "if I could carry into a place that serves alcohol, or rest area etc... I found this to be very helpful while traveling outside of Pa.
Note: I didn't carry +1 for these trips. I didn't want to be along I81/95 loading/clearing a pistol and have a ND.When you are called a racist, it just means you won an argument with an Obama supporter.
