Default gun pulled at bar, what would you do?

a few weeks ago i was witness to a situation at my local bar. around 1:45 am two men got into some kind of argument (honestly i think it was over a woman). man 1 pulled out his LCTF and was waving it in man 2s face saying something along the lines of "yea, i got a gun, see i have a permit." man 2 drew his pistol and pointed it at man 1, and they were still arguing about something (i dont know what, since i do not get involved with these type of things, my main concern at this point was making sure everybody in my group was safe and accounted for) after a few minutes man 2 put his gun away, and everything was fine for about 15 seconds, and then man 1 pulled out his gun and pointed it at man 2 saying things like "ill blow your head off" etc. then all of a sudden man 3 (a friend of man 1) pulled his pistol and pointed it at man 2 also. once people started yelling that the cops were coming, they put their guns away and man 1 and 3 left the bar while man 2 stayed. i do not ever mix drinking and carrying so i was unarmed, not saying that i would have done anything if i was, but it did kind of make me reconsider carrying at the bar. what would you have done in the situation? (carrying or not) keep in mind that we could not just leave as the exit was blocked by this testosterone circus.

If unable to actually exit the building, I would get as far away from the actors as I possible could (even if I were armed - and I would be), even if it meant going into the freakin' kitchen (where's there's also probably another exit).

I'd pull a move people thought only the government could do: bail out.

Yup... get out of there. Get yourself out of harms way and don't involve yourself in other peoples idiocy.

Then hope the cops came, took that guys LTCF away, confiscated his gun, and charged him with reckless endangerment or something. Then hope he ratted his "friends" out and did the same to them.

Yeah, I said it... I hope they lost their 2A because this. Theres no reason for this crap. And if they want to break the law and obtain a gun illegally and wave it around again because they didn't learn their lesson, then they can go to jail for a felony. We live in a civilized society.

No wonder people are so afraid of people carrying.

Why, do you lose your temper and act like a 3 year old too? If so, then, bravo to you for having the judgment ahead. If not, theres no reason for you to not carry. What if this situation DID get out of hand...how would of defended yourself and your friends?

What if someone came in to rob the bar? Whos going to protect you then?

Let's not derail this into the pro's/con's of carrying in a bar...the man asked what we would do, so......

Book it. I'd get out of there, and not wait around to see if shot's were fired or not. Being me, and depending on the situation, I may try to get others to leave as well. If you're going to be a dumbass and draw in a bar over a woman, don't make it a tragedy and take others with you.

'Course, being 18, why am I in the bar in the first place?
