    Default French Creek Outfitters

Called them today to ask if I could shoot my AR at their range. I was told no but they are re-vamping everything over the summer and by fall you should be able to shoot all calibers there.

Yeah I thought so too. I like to be able to go to different places to shoot. Breaks up the monotony a little.

Yeah I think it all depends on the range officer. I've been hovered over like I was going to steal everything in the range area on an occasion or two but with the limited places we have to shoot in his area I take what I can get.

I usually get yelled at for not tapping on the glass and showing them my weapon is clear. What's the point? After I show them it's clear I'm only going to load it up again and holster it. I carried it loaded into the range, I'll carry it loaded out of the range. I'm not going to OC or CC an empty weapon around their store just because I used the range. If I OC or CC into the store just to shop around, I don't need to clear it so it shouldn't be any different just because I used the range.

    /mini rant

FYI- If I plan on fitting a gun for a holster or something like that, I will bring it into the store already empty.
