    Default M16

I am currently in the market for a M16. I would love a Colt, but will probably need to settle for a conversion. I would like to purchase one in state, preferably near the Pittsburgh area. I check the NFA classifieds in hear, subguns, etc and have not seen any for sale in PA. Does anyone know of any for sale locally? I currently own a M11 with Lage upper and AWC MK9a suppressor (will be posting in the classifieds soon) that I would like to trade towards the M16.

    Any help would be great.

Why are you limiting yourself to a PA seller? If you are willing to drop the $9 to $18K for a RR M16, a $75 transfer through a PA C3 dealer is no big deal.

Subguns does have a dealer list by state with their websites.

The main reason is that I would like to inspect/shoot the gun first. If I am going to be spending that much cash I would like to look at it. I wouldnt mind buying one out of state, like OH, VW, etc, but would prefer PA. Plus it is one less tax stamp I have to pay.

I already have a dealer in PA I use for all of my suppressors, so I am good on that end if I need to transfer.

Looks like you should take a trip down to the Knob Creek shoot. Lots of dealers there and even if you don't find anything it is some sight to see.

You also might want to try Dennis Todd in Springfield, Pa. He gets to the PGCA show most of the time. I got my Sterling from him and he's a pretty fair guy to deal with.

    You could try www.autoweapons.com

These guys are around the Philadelphia area.
They have plenty of transferable guns listed.

Thanks for the link, but there prices are outta this world. At least 50% more than the current market.

I can not believe that they stay in business. Anyone with a brain would be stupid to buy from them.
