Thank you for the reminder. It seems many have forgotten.
Add this animated flag to your desktop as a reminder of the innocents that were killed and those that fight to keep us safe and free.Veritas Vos Liberat

I watched the Oliver Stone movie "world trade center" for the first time this past weekend. What an inspiring film.

Re: TODAY IS SEPTEMBER 11th
This is a day in my life that I will forever remember, the time, the location, the feeling. I don't know exactly how to sum up how this has effected my life in just about every facet but it has and I will never forget or forgive.
I was speaking with my mother about this a mere month after the event and she equated it in my memory to her memory of JFKs assassination and I think she is correct. 6 years later and I can recall the day like it was yesterday.
I apologize for not being able to come up with more cohesive sentences or a clear thought pattern but this was an event/day that forever changed me, my family, the US and the world. Hang you flag high, be proud to say "I am an American!" and NEVER FORGET!

Don't forget that the first battle in the war against terrorism was fought over Somerset County and ended in Shanksville, PA...Flight 93. I am American and I will never forget those brave souls and all those that died 9/11/01. My flag is also flying proudly on my front porch!

When the media start pulling and losing all those images, I collected a few as a reminder.

Re: TODAY IS SEPTEMBER 11th
Thank you everyone for remembering those that were lost.
I am from NYC and believe me its tough. Sometimes for no reason at all if I close my eyes, I can still smell it. I sometimes see in my mind, myself standing at the waters edge of Staten Island (right across the bay from Manhattan) right after the first plane hit, crying my eyes out, and the rumbling of the second plane right over my head. And I knew, I just knew. Today is a tough day for me, very tough. The horror. The memory of picking my son up from school that morning. The schools were under lockdown. I wanted my son close to me. When he came out of his class, he asked me what happened. I had to tell my young boy that the United States was under attack. He was in junior high and he understood. I never thought I would ever have to utter those words. Please excuse me, I am crying while I write this. Gentlemen please say prayers today. And hug your family. Keep you children close.
