Default Anyone excited for the S&W Bodyguard .380ACP?

I just saw this on a video from SHOT:

My bad if this has already been posted.

It's a little bigger/heavier than the LCP, but has a built in laser and real sites.

S&W needed to jump into the .380 pool, i guess. the last one they put out, a Sigma .380, was crap, or so i've heard. this one doesn't look so bad, aesthetically. i was wondering when someone was going to make a gun with a factory laser. i would be interested, if i wanted a .380ACP.

Key words, I guess. I'd be far more interested in this gun if it was going to come in 9mm.

I've been thinking of the LCP, especially after I handled one. I have a M&P, and after seeing the Bodyguard I will be looking at it before doing anything. I like the built in laser. Looking to replace a Beretta Tomcat for those shorts days in the summer. A 9mm would be sweet though.

    All aboard the .380 train.

Funny how the .380acp was pronounced DOA when the small 9mm's were all the rage.

Yeah, well try to find .380 ammo right now.

Funny how everyones making a .380 now and nobody stocks ammo for the damn things.

    It's a vast left-wing conspiracy.

right now, i'm sticking with .45, .357, and .38's. i had to trim my ammo selection, and i have more faith in 45 and 38 than 9mm and 380.

My local place has tons of boxes at low prices. Lots of Internet stores have it in stock when I check. Heck, last time I checked at WalMart they had about 3k rounds of .45ACP on the shelves.

More on topic, I like that it is coming from the factory with a laser. It is nice looking, let's hope it's nice shooting! That revolver though... think I'd rather have the Crimson Trace grips than have that big wart on the frame...
