    $500 for a kit....

    I'd sooner put that towards a new gun.

    Also... if I wanted a .50, it sure as hell wouldn't be a .50 GI

    I only know of one person who has shot one.. he said it felt like shooting a .45

    Exactly my thoughts. I'd rather save money and stick with .45 or 10mm in an auto platform. If I really wanted a .50 diameter bullet then I'd grab a .500S&W.
