This forum software is from the dark ages and has it's limitations. Another forum I frequent is super easy to post pics without first uploading them to a hosting site.

(I also use postimage to post pics here)

    on topic... random gun pic

I plug my phone into my pc and take files from there. Your phone will show up
in that yellow folder in the task bar (win10)

No. I mean posting TO the forum, directly FROM my phone.

I can do that with ease on other forums simply by clicking a button and choosing the file.

Same here, only this site gives me a hard time with posting photos that way.In my case screenshots and photos that I have downloaded are accepted but not photos that I have taken with my phone camera.

Off topic but please bare with me. For those of you who own a 7.62x39 AR, can I simply change the BCG, upper and magazine and reliably run the 7.62 through an AR15 lower? Thanks.

Photos from an iPhone can be too large. When you select a photo click on the *actual size* at the bottom (see photo below), and you can see some options to reduce the picture size come up. Typically you want to be below 700KB.

My dog was getting a hamburger because we went to the vet. She typically eats dog food.

    Yes*
There's nothing different about the lower.

*That said, I've used Wolff Extra Power hammer springs in mine to eliminate the chance of light primer strikes on hard primers.
That an an "enhanced" (microscopically longer" firing pin seems to be the cure for that issue.
I needed to do both in my first gun and just did those two in the other from the start, rather than wait to see if I had any light primer strikes, and then have to swap out one, or both.

And since you mention "reliably", I'll once again endorse using C-Products Defense (Now branded as Duramag) magazines. They work.
Other brands are less expensive, but I've never read anyone say that they had to modify a C-Products Defense/Duramag magazine to get it to feed reliably.

    IMGUR Test image

    Edit: balls.

How is a .JPG file an invalid file? It literally says this is one of the accepted file formats.

Edit 2: looks like I finally managed to at least get the link to work. Yay for that, I guess. Odd that the forum software doesn't was to make that link a hotlink, but I guess this will do for now.

I'm strictly android, and uploading photos on other forums is usually a breeze.
If I gave my dog a burger he would think he is too good for Alpo for about two days!
