Re: Post your AR with pictures here!
How are you liking the AR10 shorty?
Was it what you hoped it to be?
I shoot mine more that I shoot my 22" upper. I need to sell that upper.

Re: Post your AR with pictures here!
Fuck. So do I, but that's just gonna catch me up to where you are NOW. LOL
I've got two GWACS CAV-15 MKII lowers that need uppers.
One is already slated to be a lightweight build for my wife - the other will likely be the same thing - for me, but maybe not as critical on the lightweight aspect as hers will be. Just a basic, no-frills carbine - light and handy - perhaps a SHTF gun?
I'm also very much considering another pistol build - in 9mm this time.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Re: Post your AR with pictures here!
Cool.
Before I built mine I went through the AR Pistol photo thread on ARFCOM and quickly realized that 7.5" barreled guns were the ones I was drawn to every time.
Yours looks a lot like mine minus the Shockwave Blade. I put my Primary Arms Micro Red Dot on mine - and I have a 2-point sling on mine, 'cuz... well, I CAN. LOLI called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

-Harris S-BR 6-9" bipod (should arrive today)
-A.R.M.S. #32 bipod mount (should arrive today)

Keeping this as close to what the military really used in the 1999-2005 time frame as possible. Some things like the MIAD and Grip Pods were introduced right at the end of my time frame, so they barely make the cut.Last edited by Solaran_X; October 28th, 2016 at 03:19 PM.
