I just got a regular ordinary rigger's band on my LMT SOPMOD stock, and two chemlights - one red and one green. Because its tacticool. And to remind me which side is port and which side is starboard.


Red is port (left).


Green is starboard (right).

Long wait is almost over.
I have everything I need(including tax stamp). I just needs to get my lower engraved to ATF spec(on 11/05/15), then I can finally put everything together(Legally!!)

Lol usually that's for marking buildings and/or rooms, defined by SOP. I never liked having them on anything that could inadvertently activate them.

Kind of hard to inadvertently activate them when they're banded to the stock. Not like the guys who just had them dangling from their chest rigs...

A tiny wee bit of mall ninja tacticool is acceptable in my book.

Dangling anything is a big no go. It also looks like shit. Everything is tied, tucked, and or stowed.

Maybe with the pros like you. But not so much with the line grunt 11Bs and 0311s.

I'm not disagreeing. Just pointing out that pictures frequently show chemlights dangling instead of being tucked away securely.
