Re: LTCF Question
That all depends on your county. In Westmoreland County they approve instantly if you show up in person. If you do it by mail there is a delay.

Re: LTCF Question
According to your sheriff's website info, they mail the license to you...so it does not look like they issue on the spot, like some counties.
Also, it says the fee is $35....now that is really strange. Kind of in between other counties. Some are $25, what it should legally be,...others are like $42...but $35...I haven't seen that one before
Hey sheriffs....IT'S $25!!!

Re: LTCF Question
Cumberland county fee is $30...25 for license and 5 for picture. They told me 2-3 weeks till it's approved. They will mail me telling me it's ready and I have to go back in person to pick it up.
The app has to be dropped off in person as well.

Re: LTCF Question
i was pissed that mine took so long. i'm in berks county and i got my LTCF at one of their 'remote' centers, at the colebrookdale police station. it took me a whole 9 minutes from the time i shut off my car until i started it again after receiving my license. it was such a pain in the ass!
