Transfer needed near Reading....
Any shops local to Reading that will do a pistol transfer at a reasonable price ?
I'm buying a 1911 from a member and need to get it done soon. My preference is John at Seneca... but I don't think the seller wants to drive all the way down there.
Any suggestions ???

Kerpers in Narvon is only $15. I had one done there 3 months ago. Neat shop, and the lady who owns it is very friendly.

The guy's name is Rob Horst. Last year the charge for a transfer was $20. Give him a call. Great guy to work with.

Re: Transfer needed near Reading....
I called and talked to Rob this morning. He sounds like a pretty cool dude.
Tomorrow I will stop down to BS with him... and probably do the transfer on Saturday morning with the seller.
Thanks for the suggestions ! It's always nice to network and make new friends in the industry.

You can't go wrong with Rob @ Firearms Solutions. I've done a transfer with him. He's friendly and easy to deal with. He helped me with directions (several times) to his place when the online directions I got had me lost as all hell!
