It depends a bit on which of the three [included] grips you choose. With my long-ish bony fingers I use the large grip, which makes the grip 1.35" wide.

Re: Smith M&P 9c dims?
When I bought mine I didn't care about the specifics. All I knew was that the size of the gun was just right. Not as big as my full size Sig and also not too small where I couldn't get a good and comfortable grip on it. It fits my hand perfectly. As a CC gun it's a great size an the weight is also right. I don't like light guns because of the more percieved recoil but I don't also like the lead weight feel of say a desert eagle. The m&pc wasthe best purchase I've eve made for a gun.
Guns don't kill people, it's mostly the bullets.

Re: Smith M&P 9c dims?
I were thinking of getting something new for Summer wear, it definately points better than my G26 with a more comfortable grip angle.
Today i caRRIED MY G26 ALL DAY IN A dESANTIS leather holster (owb) and it actually felt very comfortable all day, maybe i'll stick with the G26 being that its so close in size to the M&P 9c.
