Came back from the dark side.
I've been a Glock fan for quite a while but as someone else said, They ain't got no soul.
Now I got me a Browning Hi-Power. Slimmer than a glock and a nicer balance IMO. Holds 13 compared to glock's 15. Got a hammer and a safety that I have to get used to. Just fits in the hand nice. Hope to shoot the shit out of it next week.
I guess I'm a follower of John Moses.
Gaston, get thee behind me.

Geez...you can like love em both! I'm living proof.
Congrats on the pistola. Find a good smith that knows BHPs and that trigger can be tuned quite nicely.

Re: Came back from the dark side.
John Moses Browning considered The High power to be his finest work, its also the World's first 9mm high cap gun, the original high cap, its sacriligious to compare it to a Glock. its in a class of its own.

Re: Came back from the dark side.
Congrats on the purchase, Hi-powers are great.
I use my Glock for defense but JMB's 1911 and Hipower will always have a place in my safe.

IMHO that is the standard for hi-cap 9mm handguns. The only problem is that they are addictive, next thing you will find out that there are many models. The nice thing is that even if you have several they will share a common magazine hoard.
Congratulations on coming to the light.Courage is being scared to death--but saddling up any way. John Wayne

Re: Came back from the dark side.
I have one of the Inglis No 2 Mk 1* Canadian reverse-engineered BHP's from 1945. Still puts them where I aim. Its younger sibling is a 2006 in 0.40 S&W. Definitely addictive, though I prefer the S&W 745 to any of my BHPs and CZs (and Andrew can tell you what i have in that department!). Dave_n
