    Default Wolf through a AR?

Man, prices for .223 are insane! absolutely insane.(i buy in bulk and have not needed to order for a while untill now)

Only thing that is reasonable now is Wolf.
I shoot Wolf through my ak, and its great, but from what i can tell, ak and .223 ammo for wolf are made in different locations.
Anyone use Wolf ammo in their AR?
Is the stuff worth it, not for tack-driving ammo, but for general range shooting?
and i know the stuff is dirty like hell, ill just have to clean it down more often.

I ran Wolf thru my Bushmaster at first... it left a nasty bunch of that polymer coating Wolf uses all in my chamber....Ill never run Wolf thru anything other than an AK.

    for cheap ammo go to:
ammunitiontogo.com and click on the Military Surplus link. They have Mil.Surplus/Lake City .223, 500 rounds for $170.

ammunitiontogo.com is the site i always order from
still $340 is nuts for 1000 rounds, granted with today's prices its a good deal.
But last time i purchased .223, i got 1000 rounds of seller&bellot for around $240.
    yikes!

Hahaha yeah! I know I know!!!
My local store used to have the 100 rnd bags of Lake City for $19.99 6 months ago. Now they've gone up to $30.00!!!!!
I mean even so, a $30.00 100 round bag of that is better priced than Five 20-round boxes of Federal.

www.ammunitiontogo.com is probably the cheapest you'll find, other than reloading yourself. just save some for me!!!

I run Wolf through mine. The day it can't handle it is the day I put a skirt on it.

Mine eats it up. Zero problems to date.

I agree with the statement about putting a skirt on it. The day my AR gets picky about ammo is the day that I look for a new rifle. My AR's and Glocks have not been picky about any type or brand of ammo. Some types and brands are more accurate than others, but feeding and function have been great. Reliability is a MUST.

How true....Wolf has the flight path of a DNA chain. But it functions and is just as fun as Lake City ammo.
