Still waiting for LCTF in Lehigh County

I took my wife to the LC sheriff's office on 1/28/10 & we applied for her to get her LTCF. She got her picture & they cashed the check the following week. Counting 45 "calendar" days she should have her LTCF by this Saturday & she still has not rcvd it yet...Is this normal? In 2007 when I applied I got mine in about 2-3 weeks.

She is one of the very few people I know that have the cleanest records...does this mean that something is wrong? Should We call & ask for a "status"?

Any help/info is VERY appreciated.

Im curious to what part of bethlehem you are in??? i live in bethlehem and it is northampton county. Mabey you should of had her apply In Nc instead of LC. But anyways you should deffenitly call down to the court house and see what her status is. And ask why is it taking so long...

Oh yea btw its LTCF License to carry firearms

We are definately Lehigh...we are Salisbury Twp. The whole Bethlehem/Lehigh thing really screws w/ people. I will correct. It was quicker to type the wrong way I guess?

Eastern Salisbury I presume. Near Vallos by any chance? Western Salisbury here . I remember kids from that area that had Bhem mailing addresses in school. Technically not Bethlehem but since Salisbury has no post office we get stuck with Atown and Bhem addresses. O well.

I applied on January 19th and my LTCF was postmarked February 16 if that helps any.

1/19 to 2/16 is 29 days. we are at day 42. Hmmmm...Mebee I call tomorrow & ask whats up?

It's bad enough we are already split in half. It's only a matter of time .

You'd have to get someone more knowledgeable than me to answer this, but once those 45 days are up I would suggest some kind of action. Not entirely sure what...hoping somebody else can chime in here???
