List of gun mfgs by state exist anywhere?

The thread on Daley's gun ctl in Chicago, Illnessnois has me wondering if anyone has seen a list somewhere out on the 'net of the major gun mfgs and wholesalers by state.

I can't help but wonder if gun consumers used some economic clout to bitch-slap anti-gun states by not giving their companies our business, and instead by buying products made within 2A-friendly states.

The list you seek would best be found through the NSSF (National Sport Shooting Foundation). However, they do not give away marketing data for free.

Your assumption is incorrect, in my understanding. There were no tactics of selective selling or geographical economics that played a role in the dismantling of the states and municipalities filing suit against the gun makers.

The real reason why the lawsuits stopped was an act of Congress called "The Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act" passed in 2003. Here is that Bill:

What I'm probably gonna look at are the NFA-friendly states and compare that with LTCF states; use that as a yard-stick of "2A friendly".
