The link posted is perfect info. The short version is: fill. out the app. Include $30. Wait wait, wait and soon the license will arrive

I've had mine for two years now and I can't count how many people wanted me to order a gun for them. Sure is worth it to have one and avoid all the middleman stuff on C&R guns. I have a K31 Schmidt Rubin, Mosin Rifle, Nagant Revolver, CZ52, CZ82, and an SKS

I'm in the waiting stage right now. The application itself was straightforward as everyone suggested.

My C&R paid for itself with one sizable order of needed reloading equipment from Midway. It turned out to be a roughly 10% savings. It varies from item to item, probably based upon Midway's markup. I have seen some items save a lot, some relatively little.

I haven't put a firearm on it yet, but I'd like the first to be a nagant revolver. The mechanical action they go through is amazing.

I held an FFL from 1985 until after Oklahoma City. After that it became too difficult. I don't do well at jumping through hoops. I applied for, and received a C&R License last year. I highly recommend anyone who is heavily financially engaged in this sport to do the same and get one. The main difference is you can use a C&R License to Enhance your personal gun collection. If you do that with a Class 1 FFL they'll flag you on it.

A C&R License will get you dealer discounts at places like Midway. The savings are very substantial. For example on a Leupold Mark IV 16X Tactical scope the DEALER price is $1,388.99. The regular citizen price for the same scope is $1,599.99. That is a direct savings of $211.00 on 1 scope alone. A highly specialized one. Many of the more common models offer an even better savings. Considering the cost of the license, and the little it takes to secure one, it's the best kept secret in shooting today. Bill T.
