I got about 9 or 10 S&W's. Most of them are 44 mags. But a friend of mine gave me two boxes of 41 magnum ammo a few years back. Naturally I took his gift even though I didn't have anything to shoot it in. Figured that would give me a good excuse to buy another gun. I didn't realize at the time how hard they were to find. Over a period of about 2 years I bought about 20 more boxes of 41 magnum ammo. Everytime I found some I would buy it. Then I finally found this S&W model 57-1 at at gun store here and I bought it for $500.
