I'll bump this old thread and see how things went. I'm back in Lancaster County after a 14 month hiatus and my buddy I used to shoot with a couple times a month has moved out of the area.

I just posted a thread looking for motorcycle buddies, but I'd like to find a group to shoot with as well.

I let my membership at Palmyra Sportsman lapse as we bought a house that's even farther away, so I should be looking for a club to join as well.

I'm on the eastern side of Lititz now.

I'm still in the middle of trying out new places to shoot. I can't seem to find everything I want in one spot. Plus, I have a bunch of new guns to try out.

I really liked Palmyra Sportsmen but I didn't care for the drive. If there's anything close to their facilities in the area, I'll be joining that club. If not, I guess I have to decide on a longer drive or lesser facilities.

I'm a member at Manheim and would be willing to take some people on a tour - problem is I won't be free for a few months since my wife is about ready to bring our little one into the world.

Anyway, if anyone is interested in touring Manheim you can show up for their Monthly meeting and they will give you one, you can also sign up then if your so inclined. I can get you the Secretary's contact information if your interested.

    I'm also in Lititz.

Don't forget Milton Grove Sportsmen Club, on E-Town Cornwall/Lebanon County border. Great place for pistol, archery, fishing, and rifle. It has the least used ranges I have ever been to. 20-300yds.
Why do people fearing guns call persons with guns (cops) when threatened?

I really don't miss having to wait 9 or 10 months for a permit every time I wanted to buy a pistol. I also didnt like the paperwork being up to the local police as they often inflicted their own anti-gun owner politics into the process.
I've been here a few years but I moved down from Orange County NY. I have to agree the 6 months of waiting and going before the County sheriff and County Judge was a pain in the butt just to get a permit. My saving grace was the the shield and ID I carried in my wallet. Jersey was vicious though. Even being a federal LEO they detained and tried to arrest me for carrying concealed. Although, now I'm looking for a good gun range in the Lancaster area for my father and I to go shoot(pistol, rifle, and shotgun) at.

JAS791 - come with me to Milton Grove Sportsmans Club - it is off E-Town Rd - about 15 min from you. I live near you off Bossler. They have outdoor pistol, rifle, skeet, archery and a great fishing pond. You may try it out once in your lifetime as a guest.

I am used to public ranges - and lines. None at MGSC so far - but Nov gets busy with hunting.
