You need to do what I did. I convinced my boss that he could save money by us working four ten hour days. Then we don't have to keep the lights on for an extra day and we still put in our 40 hours.

I hope you realize those are only the showroom hours. Most of the other hours I'm in the field working (I do the work myself). I do take lunch now and then during my 60-70 hour weeks;-)

Update...

I went in to Fire House Grill to double check the special for Friday while OCing today. Nobody said anything negative or seemed bothered at all. If we are asked to leave (doubt it), there are plenty of other places to eat. We'll just have to find one that respects 2a.

I think we can raise a lot of awareness just by OCing. I talked to a guy today as he was coming out of Jokers corner store (I walked from my shop to Fire House Grill) about gun laws. He ended up walking with me the whole way to my shop and getting some info on a pellet stove as well as a PA gun rights brochure. The guy was a tractor trailer driver that had parked back near the park and walked up to Joker's for lunch. In a few days he will be able to get his citizenship in America (almost 5 years). He used to be a cop in Jamaica! He was so uninformed about gun laws that he thought you had to have a permit to even have a gun in your house! He left a very happy man.

OC made me very nervous at first because I thought people would "freak-out" or call the cops. You know, all the stuff the anti's say. I have had nothing but good experiences since I put my weapon on my hip. I have also had the opportunity to raise awareness with people that are just uninformed. I think we can affect our small area a little at a time and just keep it movin'!

BTW... cream of crab soup and haddock are specials Friday! Who's comin'!?!

Haha nice. If you want, you can meet me at the shop here and we can walk up instead of paying for parking. It's not a long walk, I did it yesterday. There is a gravel parking lot next to my showroom and there will be a blue/grey/rust colored dodge van you can park next to. Maybe come up around 11:45 so I can make sure I have enough time to eat and be back at the showroom by 1. If not, I'll be the guy standing outside the grill with a high-point in a duty belt.
