Im not speaking for the OP of the pic in question, but addressing the question of the optic mount. My understanding of the reason to NOT put optics on a carry handle of an M4 is that it results in the optic being mounted so high that its nearly impossible to obtain a proper cheek weld on the butt stock.

I know I personally never have and never would own an M4 or any of its variants that had a permanently attached carry handle for just that reason. Gimme a flat top with an integrated rail every single time ! Way to much versatility to not have it.

Thanks for explaining. Personally I like the idea of an AR-15 with a total flap-top, front/rear BUIS that fold flat and some kind of optic. Best of all worlds IMO.

I love bayonets. They make great stocking stuffers around the holidays too.

I used to have that one on the right... when I was a kid. Seriously... bought it at C&D Coin and Gun when I was like... 15. No earthly idea where it is now.

    Beautiful AK you have there!

Is that a Romanian or Polish AK?

Thank you. It is a Polish AKMS by Koraynovich Arms. I love it.

Polish AKM bayonets are pretty common as of now- apex or cope's. I actually had bought one a few years back before I ever knew I'd get a Polish AK.
