    Default Just Applied for my PA Act 235

    Hey guys, i just applied for my Pa Act 235 this morning, I had my physical and psychological exams last week. If any of you know how long i have to wait for my letter from the state telling me whether i can start my lethal weapons class, let me know, thanks. Oh and if i have a unpaid ticket that im waiting to go to court for will that delay my letter?

    The wait for the Commissioners OK letter can take up to 4 months, as for the ticket that could cause a delay. I have 2 guys who applied back in the end of Jan and are still waiting on the letter !

    You need to be certified under "Act 235" to be able to carry a gun for work purposes.

    I beleive you can track when they receive all of your paperwork. I think you have to put in your ss# or something to thaty effect. It will get updated everytime they receive any paperwork for you.

    EDIT: too bad I don't get one automatically from the army...... If I'm not mistaken, I carry lethal weapons ALOT there lol

    i just called harrisburg to check on the status of my approval/denial letter, and the chick on the phone said i was approved nd they sent my letter off a few days ago..lol yay me
