Problems with CZ 527

Anyone here have any issues with their CZ 527 M1 American or Ultralight? (3 round magazine). Just bought it about 3 months ago and just got it out to the range. Wouldn't/Could'nt feed from the mag, the follower kept hanging up and it doesn't sit high enough in the well to allow the bolt to strip off a round. So I ended up just tossing the rund into the port and shooting single-shot. The rifle is brand new and for what I paid for it, it should run.

The CZ 527 (5 round) had some Mag issues. I fixed my problem by dismantling the mag and removing the sharp edges with some sandpaper. CZ replaced mags for those who contacted CZ (CZ-USA.com). This Rimfire site has some CZ guru's and many good posts that you may wish to read:

CZ makes a fine product. The mag has been a problem on some.

I've got a CZ 527 Carbine, it's a 5 shot mag. Never had any problems but the mag does have to be slapped upward to lock into the receiver. If I just insert it with little effort it wont lock, it's still tight from the factory. The whole gun is like that, but it is ever so slowly loosening up. Take a good look at your mag, take it apart and inspect it for sharp edges and round them off slightly.
