    Default moving guns to PA

    Hi,
I am in the process of moving to PA from VA. I have a 20 ga shot gun and a 22 rifle, plus a 22 pistol and 32 pistol. Do I have to do anything to bring these guns into PA..
I bought the shot gun in NYS and moved to VA. I never used the gun there, so I didnt think about it, I purchased the two pistols and the 22 rifle in VA.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

I think you need to get ahold of the sheriff in your area and talk to him about it. I have a friend doing the same thing and they said he had to take care of it through his local sheriff.

Other than transporting them legally, no. Nothing needed.

Incorrect. No paperwork needed to move to PA. Handgun or long gun.

Wait you know what, I was mistaken....He purchased them out of state and is transferring them to himself in PA.

The preceding quote makes my head hurt. Ignore it.

Take your firearms, pack them in the trunk of your car, and drive them to Pennsylvania. You don't have to worry about "registering" them here CAUSE WE AIN'T GOT NO REGISTRATION !!

Only time in PA that your guns get registered is when you buy them here.. Oh wait, the state police said they dont do that...

"what are those papers over there?"

    *silence*

    Hmmmmm....
