Any chance of an Appleseed event near the Johnstown area?

Allemans is only about 1h15m from Johnstown and is currently the closest to you.

I always tell folks that if there isn't a shoot close enough for you it's because YOU haven't brought one closer.

Basically, all you need to do is suggest it at your local club's monthly meeting. We'll provide any support necessary including an instructor to speak and answer questions.

Do you have a club to suggest?

This one at ALLEMANS is as close as I've seen one! It is ONLY a short drive up rt 53 (through Portage, Cresson,) and then rt 253 onto Allemans. Less than an hour from J-town.

I live near Johnstown and I've been bothered that they never have them close to me because I want to take my brother to one. I earned my Rifleman patch at a shoot in NY near where I go to school and I was offered my orange hat because they needed people at that range but I don't have the time with school. Anyways I had the thought, well I have 14 acres and friendly neighbors so why don't I host an Appleseed, and see how it goes, but my concern is liability if someone does something dumb.

I'm looking forward to meeting you. Lower Providence is an excellent host club and we'll have a great event!
