Default Big deal, or not? Century Arms WASR

so i have this CA WASR i bought which all in all seems to be in good shape other than one issue i thought i should ask, the mag wobbles a bit. Is this bad, something that needs fixed or is it fine and just leave it alone? Thanks!

The well for the mag has been milled out to accept the hi capacity magazines from what I have read. I have not handled a WASR that DIDN'T wiggle and wobble a bit. If you don't have any feeding issues, I wouldn't worry about it. For the record, mine wobbles too.

Yeah they almost all wobble. If it feeds don't worry about it.

No big deal but if you're using steel mags you could try a Tapco polymer version. That's what I use in my WASR and there's no wobble at all.

No worries if there's no problem feeding.

As others have stated as long as the gun feeds reliable your fine.

Of course I have seen many people at the range tell me their WASR mag wobble's to much. Granted their can be to much wobble but I would take their magazine and insert it in my Saiga which had the magwell done by the factory that has always made AK's and it wobbles just as much.

Point being all AK's wobble a little even straight from the russian factory, some WASR's wobble a lot more than a normal AK (some causing feeding issues) and this has given people the impression that an AK magwell should have absolutely no wobble. If you ever try and do a quick reload you will appreciate a little room their so no worries.

Enjoy and post pics of the rifle.
