props to LOCKS GUN SHOP
Stopped in Lock's Gun Exchange in Philadelphia PA today for the 1st time to have sights install on my CZ RAMI. the guy that help me said it'll take up to 3weeks, I said geez, can i pay and bring my gun back in 3 weeks. he said the smith is really backed up, the owner (i guess) came and said It'll be done in a couple of hrs, once the smith finish wut he's doing he do the sight.
so i started to broswing around, picked up some reloading components, check out some of the guns (prices seem very reasonable) they had alot of old revolers. anyway I paid and left. bout 20mins later they called my sights were installed. overall had a very nice experience with them. the staff were helpful, prices weren't stupid, and they had alot of stuff. I'm glad i stop in there today. usually i drive to Millers in chester to pick up powder, bullet and primers, Locks had better prices and is alot closer to me.Last edited by danp; October 4th, 2011 at 07:18 PM.

Re: props to LOCKS GUN SHOP
I've been going there for years. The prices are a bit higher than Tanner's or Clayton's, but it is on my way home from work, where the other two are a good 45 minutes away. You do get some good deals there. I got a Leupold pistol scope that is normally $350 for $225 in mint condition the other week.

Re: props to LOCKS GUN SHOP
I have never been a big fan of Locks. They usally have things overpriced by about 10-15 bucks.
My buddy bought a Glock 26 there last week. $529 pls tax and PICS fee.
I forget the out the door price.
While 529 is not a good price, it was better than the other local shop, Mike and Kates. I stopped in to get a price for my buddy, $559!!!! I just turned and walked out.
