Yeah, I knew it was other places, but figured it should be in the CHESTER county thread rather than General where it falls off the first page daily.

email sent, though, in my own experiences, they don't work. what works is ignoring the posted rules, maybe a LEO confrontation, and getting some sort of press.

SECTION 31. Firearms, hatchets and knives, etc. on county real estate
    No person shall:
    A. Bring into or upon County real estate, nor have in his or her possession, nor discharge, or set off anywhere upon said properties, a revolver, pistol, shotgun, rifle, air rifle, air gun, water gun, or any gun, rifle, firearm, or bow or other weapon that discharges projectiles either by air, explosive substance or by any other force. I have many but will stick to 3 questions about this law.

First, is the guy who picks up sticks and trash in the park is authorized to carry a gun?

Second, am I really going to get arrested for shooting my water gun in a Pennsylvania park?

Third, who the hell writes these things?

i didn't think this needed a new topic.... chesco is running a park survey

    http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/CCPRD-Survey

let them know that they are in violation and making their park unsafe by disarming law abiding citizens

some case law if you want to cite it

Just submitted my survey. Still no new answer even after sending news stories of other political subdivisions changing their "regulations" to follow state law
