Default North Sewickley Township to Consider Gun Ban!

Please Stand-Up and Make Your Voices Heard!

The North Sewickley Township Supervisors will soon consider a proposal that would outlaw the possession of firearms in municipal buildings and on township property.

This ill-conceived ban, which even includes Right-to-Carry permit holders, creates victim zones by disarming law-abiding gun owners. Moreover, this policy is a clear and direct violation of Pennsylvania’s preemption statutes which dictate that only the State Legislature can enact laws pertaining to firearms.

Please attend the next Township Supervisors meeting on Thursday, March 11 at 6:30 p.m. to voice your opposition to this illegal and unjustified attack on our rights. The meeting will be held at the Township Municipal Building located at 893 Mercer Road in Beaver Falls.

If you are unable to attend, please contact the Township Supervisors at (724) 843-5826 and respectfully urge them to oppose this proposal.

Let them pass it. Then you can file private criminal complaints on each and every township supervisor that voted for it - Official Oppression. And while you're taking the original copy to the D.A. for him to approve or disapprove it, you furnish a copy to the local news media.

I grew up 1/2 mile down the road from the township building. Aside from the municipal building and maybe the little league baseball field, I don't think the township HAS any other property.

I'll have to let my dad know. He's getting to be one of those old, cranky, letter-to-the-editor-writing curmudgeons (not to be confused w/ OUR Curmudgeon). I'll spoon feed him some prose for the local paper and a letter to the supervisors if he's willing. He knows most of them anyway.
