    I sighted it in with 7.62x51 surplus ball and have just been using it to blast steel plates at 100 yards (the setup I have available from the front porch). The Noveske barrels are pretty accurate though so I might put a higher magnifaction optic on it and try it at longer distances, with match grade ammo.

    Two very nice guns!!!

    How bad does the 12.5" barrel affect the ballistics of the .308 round? Just wondering.

    I'm seeing 2200-2400 fps from various milsurp. Match ammo would drop to about 2200 fps.

    I really dig short rifles, this one is just down right great. Quite the exotic item now a days, I would be hard pressed to not build one of these vs a bulgy side folder krink for sheer awesomeness!
