Well, they're going to have me send them the lower, with the LPK installed, and see what the problem is. They claim it's not the lower that's out of spec and it was probably the trigger. I said I didn't really care as long as when I got it back it worked right.

They are going to make me pay to ship it to them though.

Now here's the question: How do I mail a "firearm"?

I guess the question is "Is an AR lower a pistol or rifle for shipping purposes?"

If it was fully assembled into a rifle as a virgin receiver......it's a rifle.

    I'm right.

A virgin lower can be made into a pistol or rifle. Once you slap that complete upper on that complete lower (with buttstock).....it's now a rifle.

It was delivered this morning and I just got an e-mail saying they're shipping it back to me tomorrow.

So I certainly can't accuse them of having a slow RMA process

Now if only I didn't have to pay to have it shipped back.

    That's good news!

They should be able to return-ship the item to you. It doesn't have to go through an FFL if it is a return to someone.

Yeah, they already told me they're shipping it back to my house. I just have to be there to sign for it.

I had to pay to ship it to them, though, which is what I was referencing.
