Re: AR-15 trigger won't reset
when you say you "built it" do you mean you bought a lower parts kit and installed it?
if so, everything should fit and work without modification. i would think you have an out of spec lower, an LPK with some bad parts, or you put it together wrong.
the first thing i would do is take it all apart and put it back together again and see if that fixes it. if not, i would break out a micrometer to see if the lower was obviously out of spec. if not, i would contact the supplier of the LPK and and ask them to replace it with a new one.F*S=k

Make sure the disconnector spring is in the right way. BIG end DOWN.
People mess this up all the time.

Re: AR-15 trigger won't reset
Do you have a source for the specs so I know what I'm measuring?
The trigger is all one solid piece, and it was wide enough that it brushed against the walls of the lower and I had to force it down. I just assumed that was normal.
So either my trigger is too wide or the lower is too narrow. I have a micrometer so it should be easy to check if I know what the proper measurements are.

Re: AR-15 trigger won't reset
Could you list all the parts you used for the lower including the manufacturers name?
Well at least for the the trigger group?"Having a gun and thinking you are armed is like having a piano and thinking you are a musician" Col. Jeff Cooper (U.S.M.C. Ret.)

Re: AR-15 trigger won't reset
Sure. Every single part came from Del-Ton.
I bought the lower at a local gun shop, but it's a Del-Ton lower. The LPK came directly from Del-Ton though, and I just used the standard trigger that came with it.
I assume they manufacture it themselves, but I have no proof of that one way or another.
