Another vote for Gun Toter, Picked up a Taurus 85 recently for only $235 after taxes, it was used, but looked spankin' new. Also he has a pretty good selection of items, AND he is a certified instructor, so you can trust what he tells you.

Plus 1 for Advanced Arms. Great place for all types of guns... hunting, pistols, evil black rifles, and so on. Chris and his crew are A+.

Minus 1 for Gun Toters. I was in there once. I was looking around and saw a notice posted that weapons were not allowed. Really??? IN A GUN SHOP??? Turned towards the door and walked out. I'll never go back in again. If a gun shop won't support my open or concealed carry, WHY IN THE HELL WOULD I SPEND MONEY THERE????

I was in Gun Toters a few weeks ago, I was looking at AR's. I also noticed that sign but I just thought it was in a joking matter. I was CCing so nothing was said. Anyone know if this sign is for real or been hassled for OCing?

Gun Toters is a good place to deal with. I believe the owner does not condone OC. Its his business, so he can post as he sees fit.

Yes, from a legal standpoint, you are right. It is his business and his individual property rights trump my carry rights.

But how in the "H" "E" "DOUBLE TOOTHPICKS" can a gun store expect their customers to give up their Second Amendment Rights just for the PRIVELEDGE of stepping into their store???

This is just assbackwards if I've ever heard of it! I remain firmly against ANYONE dropping a single dollar at this asshat "gun shop".

Another Mom and Pop sporting goods store is Big Rich's American Sports Shop on South Main Ave in West Scranton. It's near the West Scranton Post Office,.
