You do not get flagged buy the federal NICS or state PICS for buying too many guns.

Oh, well, I guess I am flagged. Woe is me.

    exactly.

although to most news reporters and Lib-tards, ONE is too many.
The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but believe me, it's on the damned list.

In that situation the word probably changes from "flag" to "flog"

    So what are "legitmate reasons"??

You may be a collector, you may run a firearms training school where you supply the handguns, you may be buying them for your Boy Scout/Girl Scout troop, you may be a father/grandfather buying them as gifts for your sons/grandsons, you may be a drama teacher and are in charge of buying the handguns that will be used as prop guns, you may be an independent film maker and need handguns to be used in a movie you are making. I'm not saying the list is endless, but there are many legitimate reasons for a non-FFL to be buying more than one handgun from the same FFL at one time.

Thanks for responding. I just never knew I needed a reason to buy more than one handgun at a time.

I did this once in my life. It was at Boyer's Hardware in Slatington. I bought 2 used Ruger sp101 revolvers, one 3" & one 2 1/4"....3 days apart. Allen had to fill out the paperwork because it was within 5 days.

My reason: because I wanted both of them, the price was right & I had the money. I'm not sure if that's a legitmate reason or not...but the I never heard anything from anyone. I should have bought them both the same day & saved myself the 2nd trip.

PS.......The sp101 IMO makes a great carry gun.
