bump bump bump, I think the engraving is what has held me up from making an SBR more than anything, I prefer someone local rather than shipping.

They do nice work and engrave 3 lines for about $30. Get it done BEFORE form 1 is returned....

I've got a line on a more local guy in Langhorne. He's doing a receiver for me on Saturday. Apparently he used to do the engraving for CP and John Robinson. If it goes well I'll post the information here.

It went well. Cost was $37. he did it while I waited, though generally he would prefer you just drop off the receiver.

Why?

If the engraver is not an FFL you will have to stay with the item whether the F1 is done or not. Pre/post F1 approval doesn't matter.

If the engraver is an FFL you can drop off/ship and again, there is no difference between pre and post F1 approval...
