This effectively rules out that gun for home defense purposes. Imagine what the DA could do with this to nullify your careful. tearful speech, "I was just shooting to stop the threat, I'd never dream of killing anyone..."

For similar reasons, I don't have "insured by S&W" on my bumper, or "anyone found here at night will be found here in the morning" door signs. These things will come back to haunt you should the legitimate need to use deadly force arise.

Still, it's a cute box, but I'd have no use for it. Which is something that Tiger Woods is undoubtedly practicing saying in therapy.

Well, yeah.

You lock yourself out of credibility if you do certain things, like wearing a "Hitler Tour" T-shirt and trying to pick up a Jewish girl, or sporting a "Kill em all, let God sort them out" patch and then being convincing with your sensitive New Age wouldn't-hurt-a-fly pose.

If you want to be persuasive in selling a story, it helps to not have conflicting evidence.
