Current LTCF turn times
Just to give everyone an idea about Chester Co. turn times for a LTCF.
My wife got hers last night. It took 14 days total. That includes Presidents day and 2 snow days, that mail wasn't delivered.

Re: Current LTCF turn times
Wow that's quick... interestingly I applied on the 5th and have not heard anything yet. Did they mail her the permit or just notify her to pick it up? I am hoping Chester mails it as getting there during business hours is nearly impossible for me.

Re: Current LTCF turn times
yes, it was mailed, from what I understand Chester Co. only mails out the LTCF, not required to pick up in person.. I could be wrong, but i dont think so.

Re: Current LTCF turn times
Thanks for the reply. It's only been 24 days so I will be patient. Just surprised to hear someone who applied after me has already received their permit. I know my record is clean and I already have a FL permit so no rush!

Re: Current LTCF turn times
Must have slowed down some since I got mine back in May of 2005. I stopped by office and took care of the paperwork and my license was in my mailbox the very next day. Fastest service I've every had for anything..... getting ready to renew it, hopefully that goes as smoothly.

Re: Current LTCF turn times
Just dropped my renewal form off today, the officer working said it should take 2-3 weeks. Will post a response once I get it. I did tell him that last time I got it in the mail the next day. He chuckled and said it won't be as quick this time.
