Current LTCF turn times

Knocking on wood...+1 for Chester County Sheriffs Office. While working through a few misunderstood PICS issues, the CCSO was actually very accommodating and friendly. I almost felt sorry for the the LEO's working the office. Yes, I actually just typed that last sentence.

I visited the office 4 times during a 3 month span and each time there were 2 LEO's working the office. Every visit, one was quick to get up and offer assistance and were VERY efficient. I looked them in the eye and thanked them for their service. Maybe they don't hear that too much.

Coom-bah-ya aside, I was impressed with the personnel and professionalism.

Mine took two days to process...three to my mailbox. Chester County.

App date was Nov 17th - Issue date was Nov 19th.

Applied on Jan 28th, check go to the bank on Feb 3rd. I'll post back on when I get the license.

Wife and I applied on 1/21, check was cleared on 1/25 and we just received ours today (2/15).

hmm, you applied exactly 1 week before me, so hopefully I should have mine between now and next Tuesday.

Just got my LTCF out of the mailbox, took 20 days.

Put in my application this morning, and will update once I receive it.

I have to say, I was impressed. I was sitting outside the sheriff's office at around 8:00, a half hour before it was supposed to open. One of the officers (sheriff's deputies?) walking in saw my application on the seat next to me and asked me to come sit inside. Took care of me almost immediately and sent me on my way. I walked out the front door at 8:12, still 17 minutes before they were supposed to open.

After hearing some of the stories about getting LTCFs in different counties, I have to say I was really happy with my experience.

Time to start looking for a CC gun/holster. I should have plenty of time, given the recent turnaround times mentioned.

How much did they charge you for this?

WOW! 2 DAYS? those guys are really efficient at the Chester County Sheriff's Office.

It's kinda like they were members on this forum reading this post.

With the new system should it really take 2 days? The Sheriff in Lancaster County is giving them to you the same day before you leave I have read.

Just renewed mine and it took 7 days not counting weekend. no complaints here. New sheriff's facility is a bit of a fortress in West Chester felt like I was in the airport.
