Mossberg 590 stock help
Recently I asked for help because the stock on my Moss. 590 was loose, and I received great help. However, its a recurring thing. Every time I shoot it, I come home and realize that the stock is a little loose.
Any ideas as to why and what I could do?

Re: Mossberg 590 stock help
Chemical's right. If there are no other problems, the blue is what you want.

Re: Mossberg 590 stock help
No, haven't tried locktite...I'll look into it though, thanks!
It's a Black Warrior pistol grip
(not a pic of my gun)
After I'm done shooting the whole stock is loose.
The nut is starting starting to be stripped from
my trying to tighten it really hard and then having it slip.
ps...buttons broke Chemical, I'll hit you up next time

Re: Mossberg 590 stock help
Nut?
Do you mean the hex head on the bolt?
Are you sure your bolt is long enough and is engaging enough threads?
Chemical is correct that the Blue is the medium non-permanent.FNX-9 Two-tone

Re: Mossberg 590 stock help
Make sure everything is seating correctly. Also check over the cheep shit bolt they give you to make sure it is not stretching. Blue locktite will work but not if the bolt is shit.
I haven't dealt with the stock you are using but do still know people in the bolt industry that have much better Hard where than what you get with the stock.

Re: Mossberg 590 stock help
match it up at the hardware store to a aircraft locking screw...if none drill 4 small holes in the bolt head and wire it closed.

Re: Mossberg 590 stock help
I know that when I changed the stock on my 500A that there is a lockwasher that is supposed to be on the bolt for the stock. If thats missing the bolt might be bottoming out in the threads and not getting tight on the stock.
