Re: nfa lehigh/allentown ?
Sorry I have not had a chance to follow up yet. My Dad ended up in the hospital and my time is spent there and at work - making appearances at home to my wife and daughter in between...
I was actually off Monday and drove by but they weren't open (C&D) - maybe I'll just swing by the sheriff's office next week.

Re: nfa lehigh/allentown ?
Ferget the Sheriff. Just call C&D during the day, IIRC all you need to do to buy NFA stuff is to pay the $200 tax and fill out some paperwork when you purchase.
If you are going for a dealer or manufacturer, that another ball-of-wax.\
Try researching a Class III forum for info.Veritas Vos Liberat

Re: nfa lehigh/allentown ?
Thanks LMO - I have been poking around the NFA forums and thought it all boiled down to getting a sig from the sheriff. I'll just deal with C&D directly - I'd actually prefer it that way.
11B all the way - nice
Thanks for the info.

Re: nfa lehigh/allentown ?
If you're doing an individual transfer, you will need to get CLEO sign off along with finger prints and photos. If your county sheriff won't sign, there are other options such as setting up a corporation or a trust and transfering to that legal entity.

I'm curious about this as well. Keep us posted on how you make out with this.
I'm considering picking up a can but I haven't gone through the process yet.

Did paperwork for a can for a guy in Lehigh County. He went the trust route so I don't really have anything to add.
Prince Law Group in Reading did that guys trust and they came recommended from some other customers. He said it was pretty painless to setup.

Sherrif Rossi signed many form 4's for me over the years. A form 4 signature is what you want to ask about. Prolly have to make an appointment. He's good people!
