    Damn airforce weenies

    I was over there for reforger in 88, got to fly all over the country (west germany at that time) The Hof boarder tour was pretty cool.

    Actually not being regular base personnel I never went to the field,

    My little bro came over for something like that, I can't remember what year it was....he was 10th Mountain Div at the time

    LOL I remember the "return of forces to Germany" exercises. LOL I remember the army air defense guys hiding booze out in the woods prior to their surprise deployment to the field. Funny how they always know where their deployments would be. And I recall a AFNTV show on the Army's mobile laundry unit, biggest damn mobile washing machines and dryers I ever saw. Good time were had by all over there!

    I was logistics, buddy of mine Jim Fitzpatrick was part of Red Horse. And I was deployed with my C-5's to move the 10th mountain division back in the early 90's for some relief effort going on somewhere in the world.

    Welcome to the Forum, I grew up just down the road from the Sweetest little town on the map (Sugar Grove) in the biggest little town on the map (Youngsville). Now live near Valley Forge......... lots to learn on here from a lot of good people.
