Talking My HK ran away, but then this Sig followed me home..

So I sold my USP Compact. I couldn't justify the .40sw, I'm in college and mad poor, and it's been easier for me to find 9mm on the cheap at walmart than .40, so I sold her and bought this Sig P229 DAK 9mm used from CP. Got a pretty good deal for it. Anyway, I might convert it to SA/DA which is what I really wanted, but if I do, that will be later.
Otherwise, the weapon is like new.

I HIGHLY recommend the hogue wrap-around rubber grips!...you'll love them!

Chemical: It's getting wood grips as soon as I can afford them. Either hogue's or Elite grips, if I can find them cheap enough.

    welcome to the dark side.
Guns don't kill people, it's mostly the bullets.

You can convert it to sa/da? Doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of the DAK trigger system??

None too shabby. I'd still like to have a P226 in 9mm.

Yeah, it does. You have to buy and switch out maybe 8 or 10 parts. I didn't buy it for the DAK system, and I have no need for it to be DAO. I bought it cause I got a good deal on it, I called about 6-7 shops in the Bucks/Chester county areas and they didn't have any 228/229s in 9mm used, and this one's like brand new.
I'd prefer to have a non-DAK, but this is what the gun-gods let fall into place.
