    Default Lugers are Awesome

Picked up this beauty today... not an original P-08, but an Erma-Werke in .32ACP... free of import marks, totally original condition (including the grips). Damned pretty gun, got better accuracy out of her than I have out of anything else I've ever fired... might make her a carry pistol if I can find a decent holster :P

Sorry for the crap pic, but she's pretty all the same!

From what I understand out of the ones imported before the gun control laws in the late 60's went into effect the .32 was the least common. Don't know how many made it to our shores, but I don't think it was many.

Its a shame too, its a really nice shooter.

Yeah, and she's picky about her .32 too... loves Winchester silver tips... too bad they're $30+ a box. Luckily my local shop has European 7.65mm in stock, which this gun also loves...

they are an interesting pistol....and indeed fun to shoot.
i have a commercial i try to shoot regularly too. only thing i don't like about them....i can never find the brass, some but most just goes away
finally seem to have a load for lead that it seems to like...and shoot well.
it's only metal, we can out think it....

I'd love to have a Luger at some point. Well I'd end up getting two. One of the incredible looking high polish blued ones I saw at the Allentown gunshow a couple months ago and a not quite as incredible looking one for enjoying at the range.
