yeah i have the 3rd gen glk 19, but i heard that the new one you can switch out the back handle grip

i have seen and read reviews of the 4th gen...ill stick with my third gen glock 19....not that the 4th gen is bad...just don't really like the whole grip thing going on with them...thats only my opinion tho

Nothing to get to excited over. I have a 17 and a 22 in my shop.
Not to be a nag on Glock but I would have expected more. But in normal Glock fashion seems they took the cheapest way out.

If not and they pay someone to come up with what they did,I want to work for them. No stress no hard thinking.

And I am a Glock lover and own 8 of them.

+1, also not so sure about the slide, cosmetically that is. I think ill keep my 3rd gen Glock 19

yea i love my 3rd gen glock 19... the 4th gen glock grip feels like sandpaper!!

I haven't had a chance to shoot one but I like the more subdued RTF finish and finger grooves. The new mag realease is much easier to reach. I like the dual recoil spring setup in the subs and I'm curious to see how it works out in the Gen 4s. Don't care about the backstraps but if it helps some, ok with me.

Mike, the slides are the same cosmetically as Gen 3s, only the Gen 3 RTFs had the crecent shaped serrations.

Do you still have the 17? If you do I might stop by this week. The only thing I don't like about my Glock is it's just a little bit too big for my hand. Otherwise I could care less about the new design.
