Nah. It needs to be something sexier, something more relevent to everyday folks. Something someone everyone can have and use. Was/is there a PA made 1911 or were there Garands made in PA, perhaps? Or a local AR brand?

Excellent choice. There really isn't any other - Pennsylvania is internationally known for refining the German Jaeger Rifle design.
It's a symbol of the birth of our country, in the hands of Morgan's riflemen.
That would be the Jaeger Rifle.
