This weekend is my B-day and I have a $100. gift cert. to spend, So Sunday I will be going to Cablea's if I can't go Saturday. Like I said in a past post the NRA and Kim Stolfer are just a bonus but not my real reason for going.
I do beleive in the causes and support them but I want to celebrate my day with some things on my shopping list.

Snow or no snow Kim will be there on Sat Feb 6, 2010

Hope everyone can come and learn some of what Kim has to teach you about how to effectivily defend your rights.

What a fuckin' shit day to contend with a blizzard! I guess I need to try harder to equip my car for liberty.

I started out and the roads were still truly a mess, and (unfortunately) gave myself 3.125 hr for what google maps said was a 2.33 hr drive. I went 10 miles and decided that their was a fair probability that I or my car would be damaged, or that I would end up in a ditch, or that I wouldn't be able to make it up a hill.

It's a shame, since I had an interesting story to hand out to anyone who wanted to read it (one you might have already read before on PAFOA) that was partially intended for those Reps who were supposed to be there. I will just have to e-mail or mail it to them instead.

Maybe someone will take my hard questions and ask them.

My guess is it was a lonely presentation. I can not see those State reps being there this morning.

Yeah I doubt there was many people there. I thought I heard something about Rendell declaring a State of Emergency?

There were not a lot of people there. I was there. One of the reps made it. Sam Rohrer's campaign manager was there. I know weather had a lot to do with it, but I was disappointed in the turnout anyway. Weather should not have been an issue for anyone in the Lehigh Valley or parts north. Rendell's "state of emergency"? Hah! Did people really stay home because the governor asked them not to drive on the roads? It was a suggestion, not a decree of law. We all had a pretty good laugh over it at the store. If someone is going to stay home because Rendell comes on the TV and whines about the snow, they sure aren't going to stand up and be counted when it comes to something a lot more serious.

We can make it to gun shows, we can make it to shooting events, and we can make it to social events. But when it comes to the work of keeping our rights, lots of people just never seem to make it. Stuff comes up. I know, some of it is legitimate, and the storm was certainly that, but I was disappointed. The level of energy expended on this forum is incredible at times. I just wish people took fighting for their rights as seriously as they took a lot of the stupidity that goes on here on this board sometimes. And I wish more people would do more than bitch about it on an internet forum.
