Damn that looks good. Colt Pony .380 is a really sweet gun too.

Great pictures, great meal, and a great little gun.

With a meal that good, you might want to protect it with something a little bigger than with a .380acp!!
    Thanks.

I'll dust off the Glock next time.

Go for it. It's really very easy to prepare.
The wife and I get 2 meals out of it, if that helps you calculate how much to make.

Funny. I wondered if anyone would comment on the plate pattern. good old Corellware Ivy pattern. It doesn't match the new, blue and white kitchen, but that's OK.

Random question: Where can I find Uncle Charlie's Sausage for sale? I haven't seen it in any Giant Eagle around here.

Honestly, I don't know if Giant Eagle carries it.
I usually get it at the Wilkins Twp. Shop n Save. They have the typical sausages, as well as the patties. (I swear I've seen it packaged like ground beef as well) The patties are easy to break into bits.

They also carry Uncle Charley's at Kuhns.

W-mart may have it too. I know they sell the UC breakfast links.

Note: Don't bother with that 1/2 mild and 1/2 hot nonsense in the recipe - use all HOT sausage.

Well I made this again tonight but had to use linguine instead of fettuccine (POS local store doesn't carry it) ... still good but the linguine doesn't hold up well to the cooking and sauce.

Have to stock up on fettuccine next time I hit a 'real' grocery store

Ahhhh... sitting here burping up sausage right now.

We had the leftovers as a late dinner. I was wrong about the portions... we each had two healthy portions (yesterday & today) and there is enough for me to have a serving for lunch tomorrow.

I also had a thought regarding the 3/4 lb of fettuccine that the recipe calls for.
The boxes contains 1 lb, so rather than only using a partial box, I'm going to cook the whole, 1 lb. box of pasta next time, and add about 1/2 - 3/4 cup extra whipping cream, and 1 more can of petite diced tomatoes to give it some extra sauce. The 1 lb of sausage is plenty already, so no need to add more of that.

    Oooh... excuse me.

    (smacks lips)

    Mmmm... hawt sawsagez!

Yup, I found the 3/4 pound of pasta was too little and went to a full pound ... better mix of sauce / pasta

Oh and I'm burping up the same OMFG sausage right now .. damn near as good the second time around isn't it?

Oh and BTW ... I have found you do NOT need whipping cream. Heavy cream works the exact same and since the local * cough cough * grocery store doesn't carry whipping cream I have started using that

Hey EM, think your pony will come stand guard in my kitchen?

Looks good! +10 points for a excellent start to finish presentation!

I had Fettuccine with chicken and broccoli covered with a light white sauce, but I didn't get any photos. It was good though!
